Ahh, I've always been a sucker for stories with a character that carries a handicap so how could I [not] read this?

These two's friendship is quite entertaining to watch in its progress; I'm glad you're taking it slow and not just jumping right into the romance of the teen years. Gradual development makes the affections all the more sweeter. Your interpretation of how Kai always figured Jinora as a confident girl, despite her loss, in comparison to Jinora's true insecurities is on point, I thought. It's details like these that add more depth to the characters and their relationship.

It's interesting to see how unlike most Kainora stories I have read up to this point, you didn't have Jinora immediately forgive him for his past transactions. Thank-yooou for that. It's unrealistic really for anyone to forgive so easily, even if he/she is your friend (unless their personality is just that naive). Her wariness of him and tendency to keep a distance from danger zones keep in line with Jinora's cautious behavior (and Tenzin's teachings).

Aw, this chapter was adorable. Until the end! Kai's so reassuring and sweet with her. Jinora must have seen the signs, but please don't give up on him sweetie! He's worth it, I promise. And I am very excited for the next chapter! :D
