Wow. I read this whole thing in two days and just...wow. This story is absolutely amazing, I liked the hopping back and forth between the past and the present and how we were getting to know everyone at different parts in their lives. You took the characters way past their canon selves and stayed remarkably consistent with them, and Elsa and Kristoff falling in love was slow enough to be believable but not so slow I was tearing my hair out. They were always making progress, so everything felt smooth. I also like this whole brute-strength thing Anna has going on.
There's also the almost-assurance that Kristoff is going to survive all this to write the journals, so I'm hopeful that however you take this it will have a somewhat happy ending.
I could ramble on and on about your descriptions of everything so I felt I was there, and how beautifully you conveyed Elsa's emotions through Kristoff's eyes. You've done a really good job on this, well done.

My, Oh, My has it been a while since I returned to read this amazing fanfic that was started so long ago and to my pleasant surprise I found that you were coming back to the story. Needless to say I felt compelled to re-read the work in its entirety just because I'm a little OCD like that, and I honestly love how you seamlessly picked up right where you last left off and I have to admit that I am CERTAINLY NOT disappointed with how you've continued the story. The dialogue is as spot on as ever and I find myself quickly enamored in this latest chapter and can't help but wait in sheer anticipation to find out just how they manage to evade this avalanche. Your attention to detail is amazing and I know this might seem repetitious of me but I love the banter between Kristoff and Elsa, you've managed to capture and somewhat create amazing personalities that both nod to the original intent and perfectly fit this amazing world you've created.

That nightmare Kris was having was frightening! But I wonder how much more horrifying Elsa's night terror must have been for her to scream in her sleep like that... sweet how they woke up, though.

Ahh, haunted by her dead parents and by her guilt about Anna. Geez. I guess it is pretty fricking dangerous for Kristoff to be in love with Elsa. Something as simple as getting his hand caught in her tangles and she unintentionally zaps him with cold. :( These two... things do not look good for them...

The whole unraveling her hand from his hand moment was pretty amusing though. Loved how Kristoff reflected on the differences between fictional romance and the real thing. Awkwardness indeed! XD

To be fair, Kristoff sort of acted like an idiot at the end of that scene. Here you have Elsa who shuts EVERYONE, eeeeveryone out except for him and he keeps her at a distance because he's embarrassed? Yeah, very exasperating, Kristoff. I understand neither one is accustomed to intimacy, but... arghhhh. At least he was aware of his error.

Why do I have the growing feeling that after that tearful interaction when Kris was "asleep", Elsa will take off on her own... :/

Holy fork, you updated. I tend to favor completed stories because I hate to get invested in something an author drops. Not sure when you'd lasted updated at the time I was actively reading this, but anyway... I plan to catch up. I know I hadn't read everything you'd put out yet. I do love this story. Your prose, the plot and characterization are stellar.

Oh, Elsa. She's so flipping stubborn. Her and that lone wolf plan... shaking my head here. I love the dynamics between Kristoff and Elsa... I'm either forgetting what the deal is with the townspeople addressing Elsa as Lady Arendelle, or you haven't yet addressed it. I mean, I have my suspicions... but those could be wrong considering the townspeople aren't addressing Anna in a similar respectful manner. Anyway, I'll keep my eyes peeled for more on that.

Really glad to see this is still going! It's great and I'm super-curious about all the mysteries! Why does everyone have magic, and why is so much of it showing up so late, unlike the way Elsa's was showing before she was even born? What was Callaghan doing and why was Hans afraid of him? What's the whole deal with Hans - the magic and surviving being shot and "you humans" thing and the taking a bullet for Anna and the mysterious motives? And how he did talk Anna into the engagement if Kristoff told her he was trying to kill Elsa?

(So these sisters are descendants of canon Elsa - which as a pretty cool reveal - I wonder if that has to do with anything?)

I adore your word choises and the images you provoke whenever you describe something is worth striving for. Your vocabulary and analogies and comparisons and just everythin actually, really spurs me on to continue reading. The only negative thing i have to say is, now that I've caught up with the story...i have to wait for the next one to be uploaded. Why cruel world?!
