I love how logical our little Legolas is. And yes, it’s so awesome that he was able to rescue himself (with the help of some friendly trees). This was a really fun read. A great adventure story!

Very enjoyable little tale. I like your language use and phrasing. this is the first of your stories that I have read but I shall read others if you have them. I particularly like the fact that you neatly avoided giving the Queen a name thus keeping to JRR's original book. I'm not so happy with the idea of an older sister for Legolas, only because it isn't lore friendly. lovely sweet story though.

This is a well written story. Legolas is an intelligent child. I like how he rode down the river in the barrel and how the trees comforted him, and how his parents found him. I don't know how old he is, but I'm guessing he's around 7 or 8.

Just a few things I appreciated. Thank you for keeping true to the nature of Tolkien's MiddleEarth-the vocabulary was rich, not reduced to some kind of teenagery-texting English.

And you captured the personalities of your characters very well-I really liked the humor going on with the apple-carrying. :)
Legolas was a child-a good child and what we'd expect him to be from Tolkien's portrayal of him as an adult. He wasn't a selfish brat-thank you SO much for not making him a brat!
And I really liked how you portrayed the relationship between his family members.
