Doubting Asguard, Odin, Farbauti or Loki's biological brothers are prepared for Loki's rage. Frigga is everyones only hope to get Loki in anyway calm enough to listen. I do look forward to Loki embracing all his magical core and exploding Thanos.

A terrific chapter and I'm glad Loki is awake now. My only complaint is that the dialogue before Loki woke was really hard to follow, since there weren't any tags indicating who was saying what. I'm still not completely sure how much of that conversation was Frigga and how much was Odin, and whether Farbauti or the others were part of it.

I like Fandral's observations but I appreciate it more when they're able to get down to actual dialogue and movement. Glad to see this updated!

I love the fics where Loki was never abandoned, but lost.

Odin took the worst possible approach to "protecting" Loki as a kid, and I'm glad Fandral called him on it, however indirectly.

On another note, I'm questioning why Loki would keep quiet at his trial and all I can come up with is another sneaky attempt to protect Asgard from Thanos. If he's dead, Thanos can't find him and won't come to Asgard. Or perhaps he was constrained by Thanos not to reveal anything and when the truth came out at his trial, that caused his collapse in retaliation.

Dunno, but I want to see more of this!

I love the excellent way you addressed the disparities in Loki's behavior that we saw in The Avengers. His magic was flimsy or nonexistent the whole time, and this is a terrific explanation.
