I loved this whole story, but you ended with a huge mystery: how was Nyota able to afford a priceless Vulcan artifact? Perhaps this is addressed in "In the Interim"? Anyway, you did a great job! I especially enjoyed how you developed M'Benga's character from the very small scraps in TOS! I hope you will write more stories in the future!

I really love your version of Spock and Uhura, you relate their relationship perfectly. I like the interaction with Kirk and Spock when he told Kirk that he was in a relationship with Uhura, now that was funny. The wedding was beautiful, glad you used Uhura with her cultural African theme, well done. 2 things, I wish you could have continue the story with the reception where Uhura confronts T'Pring, I would like to see a cat fight. T'Pring did Spock wrong, but a big favor LOL. 2. their life aboard the ship working as a team and confronting missions together.
