Reviews for Timing is Everything
Flslp87 chapter 1 . 8/15/2018
Nice look into Amanda's feelings, which were overlookedduring the episode.
Truckee Gal chapter 1 . 1/3/2018
Doesn't surprise me at all that Amanda needed some alone-time to release her sorrow and pull herself back together to support Lee. Lee took some alone-time to think about the future he wants as a husband and step-father and realized he needed to insure they are the beneficiaries of his life's work whether he dies tomorrow or fifty years from now.

Ooh I like where you're going! Steady now, you're on the right track! Being together does keep the family safer! Now before you start second-guessing, I took the liberty of re-thinking "this whole mystery marriage thing" for you. A mystery marriage is a horrible, irresponsible, reprehensible, terrible, unbearable idea! In addition to that it will make you both miserable.
Raeperk57 chapter 1 . 10/17/2017
So great to see the roles switched here. Love the viewpoint.
cyndergator chapter 1 . 11/4/2014
Love how you interpret this missing scene, really makes more sense as Amanda would have definitely shed some tears. Oh if only you had been on the original writing team LOL
Guest chapter 1 . 11/3/2014
Good!
spying eyes chapter 1 . 11/1/2014
This is brilliant. Very poignant. If only the SMK powers that be had come to the same conclusion instead of going through with the mystery marriage. Well done.
SingerMe chapter 1 . 11/1/2014
Very sweet.
heitmene chapter 1 . 11/1/2014
Perfect! I always thought Amanda was too calm and stoic in that scene in the Q Bureau and I imagined she would have reacted much more emotionally when she heard the news. This fills in the blanks beautifully. Lee gives her back the strength she needs to stand by him and be his strength when he needs it.
stephanie.baughn.7 chapter 1 . 11/1/2014
Awe, I loved it! There's little scenes like this that you don't see in the show and they can be written. You always do a good job!
DaisyDay chapter 1 . 11/1/2014
That was really lovely. Amanda was so sad and sorrowful and suddenly Lee was there. It was nice having Lee the one to comfort Amanda! Beautifully written!
resourceful chapter 1 . 11/1/2014
Bravo. You've written a very poignant and heart-wrenching scene. Like you and others, I always wondered why Amanda waited in the Q Bureau when Dr. McJohn was about to confirm Lee's death sentence. Great job with the "what ifs" that haunted her, as well as the love and commitment Lee felt for Amanda and the boys.
smkfan2014 chapter 1 . 11/1/2014
Recently discovered fan fiction and loving your smk long and short stories. Love the filler stories . Read your opening weekend story and would love a romantic fluff piece about weekend at pinetop ski resort discussed in early season 4.
motown lady chapter 1 . 11/1/2014
This is so great! I always wondered why the writers from SMK decided they should keep the relationship a secret- I think they felt, from a business point, the work relationship would be compromised in some way-well, boo to them, and yay to the fan fic people for telling the story the way it should have been written! Awsome!
Stetsonfan chapter 1 . 11/1/2014
Oh I love that! Wish they would have done things that way instead of going on with that mystery marriage garbage. Lee and Amanda were much better together and with them living apart if things happened at Amanda's house while Lee was at his place in Georgetown he'd never forgive himself as he states in this story. Also Amanda had her own enemies that might have come after her family to get to her and Lee would blame himself for not being there at the house.
Jod88 chapter 1 . 11/1/2014
Wonderful. This episode really needed a scene like this.
Now. How about you finish off the tag of All the World's a Stage? I want to know what happened after that kiss! :-)
