Chris: Thanks for coming on such short notice, Blaineley.

Blaineley: Don't mention it, Chris.

(one month later; Chris and Blaineley are now happily married)

Blaineley: Hey, Chris; guess what?

Chris: What is it, honey?

Blaineley: I'm pregnant with hextuplets: five boys and a girl.

(nine months later; hospital)

Blaineley: The boys' names will be Owen, Duncan, Lightning, Mike, and Shawn; the girl's name will be Heather.

You gave it a valiant effort. Sorry that it didn't work out as well as you hoped.

I'm flattered that Lance got as far as third in your plans. Who would've thought a sleazy pickpocket could blaze such a trail?

Even if we didn't get the full story, I'm glad to know it would've ended in a great way. Thanks for accepting Lance into your cast!

Wow! This is bittersweet!

On one hand, pretty much everything I had hoped for Zane in this story came to fruition (Zane/Alice, Zane 'betraying' Andrea, and...WINNING!?) so that's awesome! Even if I do wonder if, had you continued updating it, it would have panned out like this because I know first hand that shit changes on a dime. I personally switched the winner of Total Drama Chaos like half a dozen times, as late as the final 8.

The bitter part of this is knowing what COULD have been if this had been completed. However, l chuckled at your "at this rate I'd be in my 40's joke" because mathematically that kind of checks out.

Everyone in the Top 5 had some badass plots, and I have to commend you on the Kyle elimination. I did not expect him to go so soon, so red herring would've been very effective!

I was curious at first on how you would get a different game genre for each episode, but you had some damn fun looking challenges lined up. Maybe slide some over to TDBG?

Ultimately, I think it's the right call to put this story to rest. IT lets you focus on TDBG, a very awesome story in itself. This was a blast to read and I'm sad to see it put to rest, but this detailed summary of a chapter was more than most SYOC authors give out, so props for that!

Aw, I knew this was probably coming eventually, but I'm still sad about it! This meta chapter was funny and stopped right before it teetered into cringe-ville, so props for that!

Honestly, I had little interest in this before and I checked this out due to curiosity as to how it had already been completed. While this is a joke chapter, I still found it to be genuinely funny, so good on you.

Honestly, I have little interest in Original Character fanfics, so I'm not too beaten up over this.

Hey dude sorry it took so long to review this I decided to reread the first act to refresh my memory and that took a little time

This was all and all a great chapter, definitely worth the wait, I am also really impressed and inspired by your determination to finish this story thanks for that dude

Now on to the actual chapter here are my notes:
I loved seeing Izzy she is one of my favorites from the original show and I think you did her character justice

I was a little bummed to see Annara go she has been really helpful to the ghosts in winning challenges.

This chapter you did a great job on character development nicely done especially with Caleb exploring his backstory some thanks for that.
In hindsight I probably shouldn’t have named my homeschooling OC after myself but you live and you learn.

So Kyle, dude I loved him in this chapter I haven’t always been his greatest fan but his character is definitely growing on me with each chapter.

Before signing off I did want to say there are still a few characters that seem to be in the shadows that perhaps could/should have more camera time in the future in my opinion that list includes Iris, Ellie and Alice.

I’m excited to see this return and see more characters get the spotlight this time around. Caleb/Clara is looking less like a Cody/Sierra reboot and Lexi/Aden & Deborah/John are developing pretty well by taking off romantic rose-colored glasses and noticing more flawed characteristics in each other. Rowan’s shallow grudges are irksome but not uncommon for teenagers. It’s good to see Kyle utilize his “strengths” to his advantage for his team. Their team may be at an upward slope while the Blue Bombers could be hurting since they got rid of such a useful player. The Yellow Ghosts appears to be stable wild cards at this stage with no incredibly strong alliance leading their numbers (only a potential one). I’m only having trouble telling the edgier characters like Lukas, Lincoln, etc apart now but that can be remedied by revisiting the story.

It’s a shame to see Annara go since she was one of the more warm-hearted competitors and her circumstances with the thieves was rough.

Billy was definitely screwed. I have a feeling that Rowan’s alliance will fall apart especially if they make the merge. But for now, Riley and her gaming knowledge could be the next target if they’re looking for more potential threats. Rowan may only be targeting those who she has personal vendettas against though.

Overall it’s awesome to hear that this story is back in action and I look forward to seeing what happens next!

Well, kinda a sucker punch in the gut, to see this finally updated, only to open it and see Annara gone.
I guess, for the short time she was here, at least you captured her personality well.

DUDE! I was so excited when I saw this had been updated!

I was a little worried that it wouldn't be easy to get right back into the groove of reading this characters, but knowing your writing style I really should've known better. It was great! The interactions were fun and the challenge was cool (though the chapter was a little short!)

I like Kyle's little redemption. It gives him a chance the next time the Red Mushrooms come to the elimination ceremony, so it won't be so blase.

Zane didn't do a whole lot this chapter, which is fine, he led the team in Fatigue of Blasphemy, but I think Alice only had one partial line, which was a bit of a bummer. I dig her character.

Rowan, though, is really interesting. She's more Heather-esque but doesn't have the plot-armor of having unintelligent alliance members. Garrett's pretty cool too.

I'm not too sad to see Annara go, she wasn't particularly memorable, but I did like Billy. He was a swell fella, and I'll miss him.

Anyways, I'm super glad you revived this (and so fluidly too! Still so impressed with that) and I'm looking forward to the next chapter, dude.

It lives! I'm so glad to see another installment of this story.

First off, Izzy as the veteran cameo was so good! I love how she jumped off Ryan's head, and how fast she hid all those Chris Heads. Good show, man!

Speaking of Chris Heads, I don't think anyone found the gold one, so that's still anyone's game. I wonder who will end up finding it. Will it be one of the villains, one of the heroes, or will it be someone we least expect? A question I'm interested in seeing the answer to.

Too bad about losing the planning doc; I hope your new plan works out. Good idea to save it somewhere that doesn't have that 90-day expiration date. You bring up a good point about the SYOC stories, and I'm proud of you for choosing to stick with the project. This hasn't been updated in so long, and yet you still came back to it. I admire your dedication to this project.

Can I just say how much I LOVE Lance's line about stealing Chris's wallet? I'm always up for his wallet being stolen as part of his comeuppance, and my thieving little character mentioning that idea gives me so much life.

Looking forward to the stealth challenge. Makes me think of the Sly Cooper games, and how you have to sneak around to make heists. You have interesting ways of turning game genres into challenges, and I am eager to see how you adapt stealth games into a challenge. Being a thief, Lance should have an advantage.

Welcome back! Yeah, it’s nice to see you give focus of each of the cast. When it comes to the main plot in order to give focus to other characters, I would try advise on lampshade hanging or foreshadowing for things to come.

Nice to see you're updating still. I won't critique your slow pace because that would make me a hypocrite. So on to the chapter.

So Cody and Sierra are hosting the Aftermath now? Interesting. Wouldn't have seen that coming but somehow it works.

The interviews were good too. Some were shorter than they could've been, but still enjoyable.

That said not a whole lot else to comment on other than Zane Andrea and Kyle getting bashed up a treat. That was awesome.

It's baaaaack! And with the first Aftermath too! So glad to see that Cody and Sierra are the hosts. I think they'd make interesting and fun hosts. :)

Even though Nathan wasn't on that long, I'm happy with the reaction he's getting in-universe. I see what you did there with KeepOutOfMyHut and the fanfiction where Nathan doesn't get out first. Clever joke, my friend.

Poor Piper, her elimination really did suck in that episode, especially with how it was a double elimination night. Too bad we couldn't talk to her more, but Cody was right with how she and Nathan didn't really have much to talk about.

I can imagine how Liam's screw-up cost him the game last minute, I mean Zeke did the challenge and everything, but he screwed up when he made those comments at the last minute before voting. I guess in a way, he's getting the Zeke treatment like Nathan is. Also, I liked how his interview started the whole discussion about Kyle's elimination avoidance. I think Sierra's onto something there.

Ooh, Mandy's so creepy. Never was a fan of those interested in any sort of undead. Though, she does remind me of Kobold Necromancer's Mandy from Battlegrounds. Can't really say much otherwise since her interview flies by so fast.

Taylor. I remember her. It's been a while since I've read this story, but I still remember her elimination. The way I see her, she's like Eva only she actually is making progress on her emotional problems. I did like how during her interview, Sierra went back into her old Cody-hugging tendencies. Just goes to show old habits die hard. :)

Rowley I liked, but sadly it seems with OC stories pranksters never seem to last very long. Too bad that his pranks got on the others' nerves, I liked his pranks. I mean, besides Rowan, who doesn't love them? It kind of sucks that Trevor turned on him, then again this is an elimination game so it was inevitable in some way or another.

Finally, last guest. I liked how with Lee Lee's interview, we finally get into the main topic of the Aftermath- the Kyle Curse. I like how the interesting part of all this is Kyle wasn't even involved in the eliminations, but someone else was the orchestrator, making it seem like Kyle was at fault when in reality he wasn't. That was really clever and cool. :)

Overall, this was an awesome Aftermath, and I want Cody and Sierra to continue hosting. Thanks for bringing life back into this, and I hope that the Sandbox game challenge can be up relatively soon.
