So wait, the contestants are 28? Because World Tour happened about two years after Island and that would put most of them at 27-28, right? I'm sorry, I forgot if you mentioned this and I'm just curious. For some reason I keep thinking they're 26, though that would make little sense. This is really interesting! A few, easily overlooked, errors. I like Heather the most so far, she seems like she has a lot to offer. I wonder how her dynamic with Noah will be. There's a lot if potential with this story! I can't wait until the other contestants are introduced. The fact the story is told from Noah's POV also adds another depth to it, because I've always considered him one of the most overlooked yet complex characters. Keep up the great work!

This chapter was captivating and engaging. For instance, the fear of the characters (especially Heather) of being caught by the Paparazzi was perfectly described. I am eager to learn more about the other characters though. Keep up the amazing work

This is one of my favorite TD fics. I find how you are aging the characters really believable

I like this story a lot. I'm super hesitant to start reading a lot of TD fics, but the plot seemed super interesting so I stetted reading and was ectastic when it turned out to be so well-written. So, thanks for the story and please keep the updates coming.

This just got more intestering. I wonder if anyone else besides Heather will suddenly show up in Noah's life. I can see your description of Heather perfectly in my head and she looks so different.

I wonder how this will go and I can't wait to read more of this. This is a really good story and I see it going far.

The chapter started out a little slow, but I was quickly mesmerized by it as the story progressed. I really enjoyed the conversation between Heather and Noah: it felt genuine. I also loved the reference to the title. Hope you update soon!

Hello here BJ! I have to say that I was throughly impressed by this story. In some ways its similar to other stories I've read that show a realistic "what if" for the contestants after the show had ended. But I think this is my favorite one of that sub-genre. I love this story's slow pace and mundane feeling tone. It captures better than any other Total Drama the feeling of real life.

The main reason is Noah. While I'm often conflicted on having the character narrating the story in real time, you do it very well here. Besides, Noah's personality lends itself very well to that style. Him being cynical and someone prone to quips makes this kind of work have the most life. He really comes across as the same intelligent and flawed yet well-intentioned person he was on World Tour with him maturing for ten years. And as a graduate student of history myself, many of Noah's fear and worries are my own. It unnerving how well he voices some of my concerns. lol

And its not just Noah whose portrayal impresses me. Courtney is great in this too. I have the same opinion that if you weren't her "enemy" that she would be a great person and even better friend. And once you take out the rival factor, I could see her personality working well with Noah's. But the person who impressed me the most aside from Noah was Heather. Man, she was written great in this chapter! I was so worried that she'd be the cliché bratty movie-star diva with vain delusions of grandeur. Thank God she isn't that! Instead she comes off a sympathetic yet believably flawed person who grew a little since Total Drama in some ways but is still largely dominated by demons, both ones from before her stardom and ones from afterwards. She's had it rough in some ways, and it shows. On a side note, I'm so glad that you show the less glamorous side of being a star. I REALLY hope that Heather either hooks up with Noah or at the very least can turn her life around!

Speaking of which, I'm also really impressed at how you MIGHT be setting the foundation for a love triangle but you aren't making it obvious, if that's even your intention. As it stands now, I'd be fine with Noah hooking up with either Courtney or Heather...or maybe both? ;) lol

I'd comment on the other characters but they are mostly just Noah reflecting on them for us. But I will voice my one compliant, and its not really a compliant and instead a difference of opinion. I'm not crazy over how you say that Bridgette is a wild, shallow party girl who brings Courtney down every time she visits and mooches off of the C.I.T. I guess I could see this happening but I always envisioned that Bridgette was both smarter and more responsible than that. Ultimately though, that's a minor issue. Believe me, that doesn't taint my opinion of this story in the slightest.

I'm curious to see how things continue for Noah, Courtney, and Heather, as well as the other contestants in this realistic aftermath story. In particular, I'm curious about Lindsay and Gwen. For Lindsay, its because you mentioned Tyler but there was no mention of the blonde outside of her being next to Leshawna at the earlier reunion. And for Gwen, well, she's my favorite of the original cast and I REALLY hope that she isn't still with Duncan and/or a depressed and defeated druggie or something.

Anyway, to sum up, I have throughly enjoyed your story and I hope to see it continue. Its criminal that this story has so few reviews and favorites. It easily deserves at least ten time that number! Hopefully more people will discover this story the more you update it, as I did earlier today.
