I'm surprised that American Magic Schools didn't track Rhode down. Now that I think about it, The Hogwarts letters finding Rhode is massive plot hole seeing as North America wasn't discovered when Hogwarts was founded so the magical sensors shouldn't have been able to locate Rhode. Not to mention that most countries have their own Magical Governments as well as Schools meaning that MACUSA would screen any International Mail that came through and check whether or not the student accepted or declined before sending it on to Britain and when Hogwarts tried again then they would block any further attempts and contact their own schools for their students. That is the main flaw with Crossovers that occur in other countries. There is zero explanation for just WHY they have to go to Hogwarts.

Gods, the end of that chapter is painful. This marks my 3rd time reading it, and it still brings tears to my eyes. The first time I read it I fucking broke down crying, it was so intense. Good job on the reactions btw. You managed to keep it realistic while maintaining the dark and somber atmosphere of Thalia's last stand. Hearing about it in the books was sad. Seeing it happen, through the eyes of her and her sister in all but blood, was heartbreaking. Throw in it happening on Rhode's fucking birthday? I have no words for how horrible that must have been for the poor girl. It would be years before I could enjoy my birthday again after that
