Blake is pretty shallow and Weiss is pretty bitchy in this story.

This is seriously the first review I’ve ever made in this site, but this story deserves it. I didn’t even leave a review for Not This Time Fate, and I’ve read that 3 times and will most likely read it again soon. This story is absolutely on par with NTTF, if not even a little better. It’s amazing that this was your first story as well. God, I’m literally empty now that I’ve finished this, but in a good way? I feel like I lost something I love, but it’s still with me. I’ll for sure give this another read in the not so different. Hell, I’m probably going to finally support you on Patreon. Can’t believe I’ve been putting that off. I honestly think this story deserves a 10/10, if maybe slightly lower if I’m being completely realistic. Like, a 9.9/10. For real. I’m gonna end my rant now, guess this is how I’m coping. Love the ending, love the story, love how you write the characters. Phenomenal. You deserve a reward my friend, a bunch of them.

I can't describe how beautiful this story. JaunexBlake is a unusual pairing, but this fic make them a perfect match. This story have some of dark moment, but that's makes it more realistic, and still it manage to have a happy ending. I don't know how you do it, but I think this story is the best RWBY fanfiction. Keep up the good work, man!

I really enjoyed this story! It was one of the best rwby stories ive read so far mostly due to how amazingly bloody and painful you managed to make it without sacrifising the Happy End. Well done and thanks for sharing!

I can't say enough. I've read througj many of your other stories but never got the chance to jump on this one until recently. Even though I can tell the clear difference in your writing skill as I read things like Null and others... this is my favorite of your work. I've been crying literally nonstop for 3 days as I binged this. My eyes litterally hurt but it was worth it! I most definitely would have enjoyed reading more... of Juane and Rens adventures into the Grimmlands and of the wedding and pregnancy of his children... but you did such a good job that I can clearly picture this happening without needing to read it(though if you felt so inclined to make some oneshots..

And I'm finally realizing you are female due to the AN in the last chap about talking about dudes with your girlfriends in the last chap... it all makes sense now!

I'm a dude... but like Juane I have a rediculous amount of sisters(6) so weirdly I get all of the introspective female thoughts as well I've had alot of conversations helping my sisters through alot.

but yes, reading alot of your other fics I always wondered how another guy would actually inderstand girls on that level and it never made sense lol. I am so glad that this confusion is over!

onto the review itself, as always you are a wonderful writer who really has a knack for character development and interaction. You also do a very good job of keeping the them in character. Most other authors on the site just insert how they would do things, you more or less change the timeline or scenery around them and dump the characters into the chaos and we as readers get to see what they would do in this new situation and it makes sense for how they act as a character. For this I thank you.

Ruby is top and weiss is bottom
their bunk is the one with the bed hanging from the ceiling lol
