Lovely! I liked the fluff. And I thought it was very in-character that they agreed to take small steps. Also the part about her smile tugging at his heart strings was really nice. Wonderful piece of writing! I really enjoyed it.

Loved it! I like that you didn't just have her throw herself into his arms, but you didn't have her completely shun him either. Because she's been with him for 16 years, so there's bound to be some trust there, but she's still been hurt, so she's not just going to throw herself into another relationship. Sorry for rambling, it was just very good characterization.
