Spandam is sneaky rat, also him being interested in the powers that wizards from Earthland have its no surprise, their magic is strong as far as I can remember watching the series of Fairy tail is quite the astonishing and very cool.

The navy would go awe(as in freak out)when they learn that the new strawhat pirates(I mean the wizards from Earthland)have magic and each of their magic is strong including that ones that have Dragon Slayer Magic.

Paul's character is correct he goes all flustered when he sees a girl wearing clothes that reveal a little much of their bodies or anything else.
