This was absolutely incredible! You nailed everyone's personalities so well and I can't stop crying. I came looking for a Cole romance story after finding out I couldn't romance him in game and I was not disappointed. I spent 3 days soaking up every word, every emotion. Wow thank you for writing this! Definitely going on the reread list!

Wow. I don't even know what else to say except wow. I read this entire fic in two days and I was utterly captivated by it and when I finished it, I literally sat and cried for an hour after. Your writing is just... phenomenal. My heart felt like it was being squeezed almost throughout the entire story and I havent stopped thinking about it since I finished it. I hope to one day have a soulmate like Ember and Cole had found in each other. Of course that soulmate will likely not originally be a spirit, but I digress. Absolutely wonderful.

I cannot find the words to express how much I LOVED this story! It was beautifully written, really moving... Heck, it was the first fanfic that has ever made me cry (of happiness, and sadness)! It also has made me see "Cole" in a whole new light, and wish that he was a love interest in the game. lol Thank you, so much, for taking the time to write/share such a wonderful story; I couldn't stop reading it! 3

This story was amazing from beginning to end. I absolutely loved Ember. She had so many layers and a fire that was unstoppable. She has to be one of the best original characters I have ever read. I also greatly enjoyed how you wrote Cole. You captured his depth and purpose better than any I have read before. I really hope you continue this for the next game. I would love to see everyone's reaction to Cole's return. As well as how Ember stops Solas. I do have to wonder if Ember will eventually replace her missing arm with one of Dagda's creations. Perhaps something that is powered by runes and Ember's magic. I also wonder about Ember and Cole having children. Anyway I loved the story and look forward to reading more from you.

Such a lovely story. I never imagined Cole as a love interest before. He's just not 'there' for me. This shows what it could be for the herald and Cole though slightly altered. You managed to make me feel so many emotions. I cried a bit during reading and that was quite rare. Shows what good writing can do. I binged read this story the entire night. Thank you!

I really hope you continue this at some point, I'm hooked. My heart stopped when I thought this was the last one. I've not put this book down since I found it, and I wait with baited breath for the last two chapters. This is brilliant, don't give up!
