Im curious on how Abigail meet Tadashi but love the idea that she identified with him. Her accepting that Her father is a villain and doesn't excuse him is great.

Holy crap this is amazing.
After seeing the movie, I admit I spent a fair few moments considering how Abigail was going to react to the news that her father had gone insane in her absence. None of what I thought up could match the sheer stubbornness and strength of character portrayed here. The mention of heels as almost synonymous to bad-assness made me smile because I don't think anything is more powerful than the click sound they make when you walk in them right.
I also really liked this because of the way you took a minor character and gave her a personality, making me see her in an entirely different light. Since the movie spent so little time on her, she'd just been kind of a shoe-in, stereotypical 'woman' character in my head. Because the plot unfolded more around her than because of her - yes, she had a major role, but it wasn't because of any particular action on her part, more an unfortunate accident - I'd just inserted a one-sided character for her and thought nothing of it.
But you've completely changed my opinion on her, you've made me see her in an entirely different light. I absolutely love how you took a flat character and brought them to life, especially because she's so clearly determined to not let circumstances rule her.

Not bad

This was beautiful. The prose was gorgeous and vicious. I could easily picture each detail of this one-shot as if watching a new scene from Big Hero 6. Could you maybe keep going with this theme? As maybe another chapter or a new one-shot? Either Abigail actually calling Honey at three AM and asking for the chemist's help or maybe Abigail approaching Hiro and offering additional help should he want/need it? Just suggestions, I'm not demanding for anything more. Well, maybe I am silently, but I'll make do.

The ending always struck me as so bittersweet because Hiro lost his brother, and the man who killed him got his daughter back. Still, the look on Callaghan's face is really heartbreaking because he knows what he did and he's still going to lose his daughter anyways.

Great characterisation of Abigail! We really don't know that much about her and I like this interpretation of her and having had Tadashi as a student once. You've got to feel bad for her because her father's a murderer and that's going to follow her for the rest of her life.

Your writing is beautiful and always so fluid. I loved the language, metaphors, and tone you set for this. I just realized you wrote the AU fic that I liked so much, haha I thought the writing style looked familiar. 3

Interesting piece. Kind of a bold direction to take Abigail in, since she was given mostly a passive role in the movie, but you're right. Her future would be tough, with the scandal surrounding her, and she'd need to face it head on. The E-Cigarette was a nice touch of defiance. Well done.
