I like it, but it seems that you are not aware that boruto is hailed as a prodigy by konohagakure from a young age unlike his late blooming parents. He actually inherited skills from both naruto and hinata as he can use the gentle fist style and produce the byakugan via his right eye and even make his own variant of the rasengan.

Boruto also showed the capability of fighting toe to toe with Naruto, almost making him forget that he was fighting a genin and even contemplated going all out on his son. And while Boruto and Naruto share traits, boruto is actually more similar to Sasuke and unlike his father, he wants to be a shinobi like Sasuke while detesting the role of hokage.

Also, while Boruto ang Sarada are not close, they are actually civil and respectful to one another unlike their parents, albeit cracking insults from time to time and Boruto looking down on Sarada's dream of being a hokage. But Boruto has vowed to protect Sarada when she becomes hokage, although he sees more of a rival in Shikadai rather than Sarada.

Yep, the only thing I miss is the thrid member of Team 7. If the uahtor makes a spin-off, I guess there will be an OC. But overall, hilarious story. If only it was in anime...
