I personally would enjoy a sequel, but I like this ending of "less is more." I personally hope that nobody ever finds out about carol's pregnancy and it being Jim's kid (is that mean?) Also, I kind of think the sequel could be a story, but i almost think it would be easier and maybe even better to do a series of oneshots as the sequel. The one-shots could outline moments like where the kids are reunited with their families and that builds Katie's trust back in starfleet (at least a little) and thus in Jim, cute moments between Jim and Katie, Katie and Jims adventures in space, Jim/Katie is official, wedding, epilogue... Stuff like that... But that's just my opinion

Love this story. I love that Tallis is not all googly eyed over Jim. He would never want a girl that is so enamored by his looks and intelligence that she can't stand on her own. Great story so far.

I really really really liked the action in this! I wish it lasted much longer though (especially the romance) but it worked out well, short and sweet. I loved it though, a lot. Don't get me wrong. Don't stop writing your amazing at it! :)

I truly enjoyed your story. You did a superb job developing a very likable OC! I feel sorry for Carol. I get the feeling that she really does love Jim because she wants what is best for him. I do see Jim and Katie as a withstanding couple and hope that they have that happiness for a long time. I enjoyed how you portrayed Jim in your story (in particular, not a jerk but a captain growing into his position and in his maturity) and I hope you keep that going. As far as a sequel, I know I'd love to read one. I am already speculating what happens...hehe...

Aw. The governor was a good guy. Youve written this well. The characters are well defined. I can see and hear them in my mind as I read if that makes sense:). Hopefully Kirk and co. won't have too much trouble finding Katie and the kids.

And the plot thickens...can't wait for more!
