I read this part while riding a jeepney on my way to school and I have to stop my tears from flowing because I don't want the driver and my seatmate to look at me like I just have the worst break-up of my life and it's because of Arthur's epileptic attack.

Loving the story so far! Just a question, are you sure you mean neurotic condition? Neurosis: "A relatively mild mental illness that is not caused by organic disease, involving symptoms of stress (depression, anxiety, obsessive behavior, hypochondria) but not a radical loss of touch with reality." Essentially, it's an overall category for many mental illnesses/disorders, such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, etc. I'm pretty certain seizures aren't really characteristic of a neurosis, though I guess if you got stressed out and anxious enough it could technically be possible? One time I read about a dog that got so stressed from separation anxiety that it seized occasionally, but I don't think that really applies here... Additionally, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't use an MRI to test for neurosis of some kind, since I don't believe neurotic disorders are physically represented. To be honest, I'm kind of hoping that I am, since Arthur having neurosis would not be nearly as severe, though I think you probably meant "neurological" not "neurotic". Neurological would be, like, a brain tumour (benign or malignant), which I guess is possible if it were located in the brain stem or cerebellum, since those areas can cause seizures... However, I don't think he's shown a lot of symptoms for that... but I digress.

I don't want it to seem as though my pointing out of issues based off of semantics make it look like I'm not a fan of the story. I'm really enjoying it so far (though damn this could end so sad), and I'm looking forward to the next chapter, so please keep writing!

I'm not sure if you intentionally had Alfred misrepresent the stance of evolution on whether the chicken or the egg came first, but because of who I am I'm going to give you my two cents. Evolution would actually suggest that the egg came first, but from a different bird. You can't have a chicken without the egg, so the first chicken egg did not come from a chicken.

Arthur has some sort of brain thingy. Like brain cancer or something. He's dying, right? Because I dunno. It just seems like that's what he has and that's why he keeps zoning out and becoming unstable. Am I right?

I'm still betting on brain tumor on the frontoparietal lobe hahaha omfg. Terminal illnesses give me a certain kind of angst that can't be liven up by fluff. It's so sad.
