Poor Tauriel!

Methinks this is fantastically, amazingly romantic and tragic! There were so many emotions rolled into one and your version of Kili and Tauriel's is one of the best I've seen! Kili's speech was a joy to read, especially; it mirrors his tenderness and surprising articulation when speaking to her in DoS which is great! And, yup, I got the GoT reference! I love, love, love that show, even if practically everyone dies. I suppose Kili and Tauriel's relationship does really remind me of Ygritte and Jon's plus Daenerys and Drogo's... being just as depressing as both, also. Although, I'm not sure if Thranduil will in fact discover Tauriel's budding romance in the last movie as I don't think Legolas would reveal anything to his father, but I do like this version of their confrontation! I hope that the movie will be as intense as how you write it. Thanks for writing this and I look forward to fangirling on your writing sometime else in the future! :D :D

"But first we'll live" - this line what the highlight of everything I think! Truly loved this chapter it was wonderful and heartbreaking at the same time! They must be able to continue this - uahhhhh!

Beautiful and oh so sad... but I like that you tried to keep it realistic. I can actually picture the conflict between Tauriel and Thranduil going down like this. Write some more Kiliel in the future, please?! I absolutely enjoyed this and would love to read more (especially after the third film breaks my heart. ..). Also loved the GoT reference by the way.

*sigh* I loved their little conversation about the stars in that chapter. So true if you apply it to their situation. Some other ideas that this chapter raised also pretty much reflected my feelings about their relationship (I really shouldn't be this obsessed with it, but oh well, I just am). Looking forward to Part 3!

Oh my god! Man, I thought they were going to do it right then and there (and I'd be like, yes, they're married - in elven tradition)! Still, this was such a wonderful intimate scene AND realistic! You brought them back to talking about the stars, the same subject of their very first conversation: Bravo!

You write absolutely gorgeously, especially in this chapter! I love how you do the relationship between Tauriel and Kili, how they both let go a little and can read each other; it's so tender and romantic! Can't wait for the next chapter! :D
