This is so lovely. You did a great job of portraying Neo's anxiety, it's very relatable. Love it! Especially the fluffy ending :)

She would'nt be that nervous, I mean, she took on Yang without even trying, the girl can handle herself.

This story is absolutely beautiful and expertly written.
I love everything that you did with it and the feeling and emotions really come through.
I am a huge fan of father-daughter relationship that Roman and Neo have and you played it pitch perfect.
The part where Neo mentions the stuffed animals being a symbol of her belonging is so touching.
I would love to see you do more works involving Neo.
If I may suggest I would love it if you would make a story on Neo discovering Roman's death.
There is this amazing fan art that you can look up of Neo scurrying around the crashed ship looking for Roman and every time she finds one of his items she gets hopeful and looks around for Roman then takes it with her (wears his coat and hat and holds the cane and cigars ) and at the end she sits, lights one of his cigars, takes a puff and then cries.
I find it a very emotion invoking piece of art just like your story and I feel that you would be able to write a great story on that scene or something similar.
Reading this work definitely makes me want to read the rest of your stories and I hope that they are as well written as this.
I also hope that you will give my story suggestion a shot as I feel from this story that your portrayal of emotions is perfectly on point and I feel that you could make a great story with that premise.

-Adorable. Utterly adorable. There isn't much else I'd use to describe the fic, but if I stopped here, there wouldn't be much of a review.
-I've always been partial to stories that have Roman as Neo's dad (adopted or biological doesn't make much difference to me). This one sits as one of the better ones I've read.
-The sign language was definitely an interesting part of this, and I had to look some of them up to know what Neo was saying. After figuring out what they meant, I can say that there probably couldn't have been a better way to cap off this fic than with that last use of sign language (if I still had a heart, it probably would have melted at that point).

-Overall, this was absolutely one of the better RWBY fanfics featuring Neo on this site, and it has definitely earned its place on my favorites list.

That was good. An nice (well, detailed with much feelings) view into Neo's life. I would have liked more (the story is good), but this story is compleate as is.

I know this may sound very out of note for this, what I believe is a one shot, but I think you should continue this story with more chapters. like, each chapter is after a certain event, and we see the relationship between these two
