I had a big D'awwwwww moment with Kakashi at the end there. I honestly wasn't expecting him to be just a kid. I guess he did most of his growing up after Sakumo dies.

I really liked the interactions with Tsunade and Orochimaru. It's always nice to see those two.

Clever Momoko. Acting like the child she is to draw Sakumo's blame onto herself.

There's always a lot to unpack with each chapter. In particular, I loved that bathroom scene. XD I was also sad when she thought about her mom and Fujitsubo, and how she was actually beginning to think of Fujitsubo as more of her mom.

I've got to say, this is a wonderful way to speed up the plot. Also, this made me realize just how well you write children and people's reactions to them. I never did get the hang of that.

I should have seen that kidnapping coming. Also, Yui! No! :( What a brave, selfless woman. She will be missed.

1. I have no idea why I didn't realize this earlier, but she's *Jiraiya's daughter*?! Red (mom) plus dad (white) equals pink (SI). And the wild hair. And the red markings under her eyes that grow with age. And the fact that she grew up with a stuffed frog. My god. You actually did it.

2. That creepy dude was either a pedo or he recognized a daughter of Jiraiya.

3. I love Fujitsubo for protecting the SI like that.

Things ended badly there. What sort of idiot tries to cheat a shinobi clan? Wow.

I feel really sorry for the mom, but at least Momoko doesn't seem to have ended up in too horrible a place.

Very solid intro. I'm almost suspicious this family is related to the Haruno family in some fashion.
