That my dear was sweet and sad all rolled up into one and I loved it!

This just tugs at my heart so much!

This definitely has a Winchester Christmas feel to it, with Dean able to see the beautiful tree but not really experience the kind of happy family Christmas that it represents. I'm going with adult Dean, season 3 - his last Christmas before the deal is due.

For me that's definitely Dean as a child - with an innocence he has lost, in my opinion. And it's so sad to think that there might never be again that special sparkle in his beautiful eyes. Sniff.
