Well great story so far. I loved the prologue...it's unexpected but I'm bothered with the way you write. You're most likely following a novel from the way you write. It's great and all but I think you need to write and give more example about the landscape around your oc. So far so good man.

Story is great, hasn't declined in quality

The chapter is good and not bad quality, also it seems that the most recent chapters have been mentioning to have a person guess what the reference is, so this is the thing. In the last chapter it mentions to guess the game and the mission it is referencing, play here it is, the game is call of duty 4: modern warfare and the level that is referenced is the level one shot, one kill that takes place when captain price was a lieutenant and he was there along with a character named captain Macmillan

Good chapter neat call of duty 4: modern warfare reference (if you were actually doing it although it wouldn't make since if it wasn't a reference)
