Abstract Ideas chapter 24 . 1/6 If I had to be entirely honest, at this point, I can't see Rin as anything but the antagonist at this point. It's all fine and good to seek vengeance, that's something I can't blame her for, but to traumatize and kill the innocent for it? She could've avoided those casualties. She could've avoided traumatizing her younger self. Yet she didn't, because the path she chose was the path of most efficiency. She ridicules Kiritsugu Emiya for his methods, and yet, at the end of the day, is she not doing the same, except for the fact that she is selfish and he is selfless? |
davidashton2099 chapter 15 . 1/4 So, what was the point of Caster nuking the city again? To stop Lancelot? Lancelot regained his sanity when she's charging up, and had even helped to reduce collateral damage. The damn nuke didn't even killed him and she has to stabbed him to properly finish him off. Why was Artoria just laughing it off? Given her personality, I've expected her to be much more furious. Maybe you intended it as something else, but frankly this honesty just feels like Caster is being an asshole for no reason and no one but Kiritsugu is calling her out on it. |
Dasgun chapter 24 . 12/13/2019 .. |
Qriiz chapter 7 . 12/7/2019 I really don't think an idiot like Rider would say something that 'wise' though, considering he spent all his live chasing after his dream. |
JustAFool chapter 23 . 9/8/2019 Nice story. |
JustAFool chapter 12 . 9/7/2019 I was wondering how Waver was still going to be the el melloi II if nothing occurred and if Rin was going to off Kayneth herself if the issue came up. Now I know. |
The Richmaster chapter 16 . 8/10/2019 I really like the way you've shown Saber being effected by eevents and Gilgamesh is as amusing as ever |
The Richmaster chapter 15 . 8/10/2019 ... I'm not really sure why Caster activated the NP, it doesn't seem like she really needed to do so |
The Richmaster chapter 14 . 8/7/2019 ... well, this seems like it's going to cause a lot of collateral damage the part with Tokiomi was cathartic, at least |
The Richmaster chapter 13 . 8/7/2019 ... did Tokiomi just summon GIlgamesh? because that sounds like suicide to me I liked that Rin had proper defences in place |
The Richmaster chapter 12 . 8/6/2019 that is definintely a cruel place to end a chapter and I definitely like Lancer here too |
The Richmaster chapter 11 . 8/6/2019 This is probably one of my favourite versions of I've Gilgamesh; I really like how he interacted with both Tokiomi and Kirei. The seeming growth on Kirei's part was also fairly interesting to see, as I had expected Rin to target him as well Uryuu was written pretty well too; it felt in-character for him and his end feels fitting since he doesn't get that "beautiful" death that he got in canon |
The Richmaster chapter 10 . 8/6/2019 Iskander should probably be considered a memetic hazard I'm glad that Kariya got some closure before his death, even if he didn't get to meet Caster personally |
The Richmaster chapter 9 . 8/5/2019 My favourite character here was definitely Gilgamesh; you did a good job with his personality and I could definitely see him holding those opinions The reactions to Rin's identity also made a fair amount of sense |
The Richmaster chapter 8 . 8/5/2019 That was a brilliantly emotional chapter; seeing Rin talk about Shirou and Archer worked on many different levels and Saber and Irisviel made for an effective audience. Waver comforting Saakura was also really sweet to see happen |
