Not... whatever pitiful excise for a relationship those two had in the movies. :/ LOTR is one of my favorite fandoms, and Jackson did a fantastic job on the LOTR movies. I have no idea what happened with the Hobbit movies, but he completely dropped the ball in the "family feels" department. *Thank you* for contributing to that rectification! |

Since Jackson decided to take a little easy way out with Thranduil in my mind, making him the antagonistic person in the whole war. I know Elven King loves his son, I know he does, he just...is depressed and has post traumatic stress dissorder in the movie, so he doesn't show his care overly much. |
