Reviews for The Diary We Carry
Serennos chapter 14 . 7/8
Clever as always. Amusing. Great vocabulary. Very satisfied sigh...
THGHPTVD.2 chapter 14 . 6/29
Loved reading this story. I wonder what the trigger phrase was for the curse? I will laugh if it was the 'M' word.
Good luck writing in future. Thank you for your story.
Guest chapter 5 . 6/22
Re-reading this after a frankly horrid day of working retail and so grateful for it! I always turn to your work to cheer me up, and it always works wonders. Thank you!
Lori chapter 14 . 5/13
Love love love love love! This is probably my 10th? Time reading this story and it never gets old. Thank you for writing it!
Lindy chapter 14 . 4/12
On one hand, it breaks my heart that Hermione didn't recover all of her memories. But at the same time, that "imperfect" ending makes it all the more real, and I can't find fault in that at all. Thank you SO MUCH for a lovely "little bit of fluff," as you called it - I loved reading it!
Lindy chapter 13 . 4/12
The concept of curse-breaking fascinates me, so I have a little extra love for this chapter, for that reason alone. Thank you for writing!
Lindy chapter 12 . 4/12
I really enjoyed the continued use of the word "fools" here - a very apt description. Thank you for writing!
Lindy chapter 11 . 4/12
Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but I like the repartee between Hermione’s unexpected (and unwelcome) table mates. Thank you for writing!
Lindy chapter 10 . 4/12
I love Luna. LOVE her. So happy to see the new (if it's fair to call it that) friendship between her and Hermione. Thank you for writing!
Lindy chapter 9 . 4/12
SO MANY LOVELY PIECES in this chapter. (I mean, it was lovely as a whole, but I do have my favorites.) A - describing the men (boys?) as "beautiful, beloved and barely known." B - "I'll be standing here, holding on to you, no matter what happens." C - No one would ever dare throw you crumbs. Brioche, maybe." And finally, my personal favorite, D - "If she thought he had any interest in burying his soul in that particular graveyard, she was fooling herself." LOVE the language in this sentence, in particular. Thank you so much for writing!
Lindy chapter 8 . 4/12
Your description of Blaise with "steady, feral grace"? EXCELLENT. Also, it makes my heart happy that she remembered the first time she told him "I love you." 3 Thank you for writing!
Lindy chapter 7 . 4/12
Apparently these reviews are going to be nothing more than a recap of my favorite moments from each chapter. Favorite in this one was when Blaise called Hermione "little lion of mine" :) Thank you for writing!
Lindy chapter 6 . 4/12
Another favorite line: "Who were these men with whom she livd; what did they do, what did they hide." Thank you for another chapter!
Lindy chapter 5 . 4/12
Much appreciation for Hermione's "compliment" to Narcissa about that necklace. Thank you for sharing!
Lindy chapter 4 . 4/12
Feeling the Draco love in this one. I appreciate that he can cook breakfast well, because that is honestly a surprisingly rare skill. Also, there's something very sweet about kissing someone's fingertips - it's like respect, admiration, and adoration all rolled into one. And that ending. Straight-up heart eyes. Thank you for this chapter!
