A friend linked me to your fic here yesterday and I consumed it like a starving woman. She and I read it together miles away from each other and commiserated over the wretched sadness Killeen suffered through almost every chapter. Oh, and I suffered right along with her. I felt her pain as she struggled with her unrequited love for hours and hours as I powered though every word.
I want you to know that is is extremely well written. Every character was precisely written, the life of soldiers sharpened, the excruciating doubt wrung through Kill’s mind — so accurate, so believable. Look, I know this was written years ago but it still hold up. Strong, trembling, waiting for hungry eyes like mine.
The end brought a smile to my face I didn’t expect to come. Thank you for this.
Both my friend and I wish Killeen was a real character in the game. From now on, Commander Cullen’s side will be missing the love and loyalty of Killeen. Every time I play the game I will think of her.

Fantastic story. I was very hesitant to read this because I thought it would have more heartache than I could handle. But reading some of your reviews convinced me it would be worth it, and or 100% was. Thank you for sharing.

I adored your story. I underatand this is years after you posted it, but i found each chapter very compelling. I am used to reading very long, detailed, stories with flourishing descriptions and wordy chapters. While i am still a fan of that style, i found this story refreshing and easy to lose myself in. Ive read all that in a day, neglected even eating and my hygiene to finish it becauce I was too hooked up for this story I had to continue reading. I have been glued and I have helped to ruin my eyesight probably. But damn it was worth it. I havent read a good story like this ever, and praise tell Ive been reading a lots of fanfictions. Only God knows how much I enjoyed this story. I laughed, cried, obssessed with Killen, her unrequited love and the story overall. I couldn't even play DAI because of the lack of Killen in the game. I truly loved the story and the characters. I don't know much about the canon personality of the people involved in your story, but I truly loved how you portrayed them. Instant fave... same as By his side. And talking of that, i do prefer the development of "that" chapter as told in the other story. Anyway, good story and I hope you can write something soon.

So far, the best Dragon Age story I've read. It's so full of feeling; it makes my heart clench in all the right ways. I can hear everyone's voices so clearly...You do their characters justice. I'm appreciative of the weaving of introspection and dialogue-keeps the pacing perfect. I also love Kill's sense of honor and humor.
