Out of all the things Jaune aid about himself apparently controlling ice now because he ate dust and 7 sisters did nothing to surprise Weiss. I don’t think that’s too accurate.
Also Jaune talking to Blake like he has been around, active and knows her enough to give a lecture on her life and what she truly wants.

I’m gonna keep reading but this stuff seems a bit of a stretch, I don’t know if Jaune backstory is gonna be similar to canon besides this event taking place but I feel like it’s treading Gary Stu territory for his character getting amazing powers and somehow a wealth of knowledge and understanding.

This story probably is one of the best story i have ever read. Usually, i don't finish reading a story with 100k words but your story managed to make me finish it (eventhough the story itself is unfinished. I hope you have the motivation to uodate this story.

My complaint is the action scenes. They are, even for a fiction, unbelievable. Use some more creativity instead of plot armour to depower Jaune or weiss or power them up whenever it seems to suit your story. Otherwise I enjoy the dialogue and the premise!

I went ahead and favorited the story but I can’t bring myself to read it yet. I just can’t read stories that haven’t been updated in a long time because I’m worried I’ll get so into it and not get an ending. It’s happened quite a few times on this site actually.

Honestly, the way he’s written in the show IS realistic. There will always be people who only care for themselves. Who, even though they pursue a life that would place the lives of others in their care, they simply don’t care and just want the power and possible glory that comes with it. Some excellent examples would be corrupt police officers, politicians, lawyers, etc.

Ok there’s quite a bit I like and don’t like about this chapter, but it would take too much time to write it all so I’ll only say this. Cardin. You fucked up ROYALY! This is a man cold to the world in almost every sense of the word. You stupidly tried to dampen the flame that brings warmth to his life. Now face the consequences.

Ruby and Yang look nothing alike yet everyone accepts them as sisters. Different hair color, eye colors, skin pigmentation, figures, LAST NANES! Literally NOTHING about them is the same. I don’t really see Blake and Jaune having a problem passing themselves off as siblings.

I don’t really get why everyone is concerned about Jsune’s ability. I mean it’s a semblance. They can be extremely powerful or downright useless. I mean look at Yang, Pyrrha’s, Qrow’s, and Raven’s! Though I don’t really like just how reliant Jaune is on water being at hand. If his entire fighting style is based around it, then such a weakness should be so strong. I’m not saying he should be op, but it would make sense that he could pull the water out of the air or plants to form his shield and small constructs. The least he should do is pull a Gates and carry a decent amount on him.
