This story was good like southern baked macNcheese and cuddles on rainy days. its feeding my homebody soul and i love it.

I wonder how the hell a single chapter could be so long, but then I realized that was just one, the point is, i don't know if is a long or a short fic, I just don't wanted to end, it's a really pretty story.

This is a very very precious story.
I love how Draco is in character and in a logical manner. He’s not immature and cruel like how many would describe his character.

An enjoyable story - I liked the development of the characters (Luna and Goyle are an odd mix, but works in this story). I especially liked how you went into wizarding culture too.

I would have liked to see a bit more of the other Slytherins though - not necessarily a big part, but more of a mention, like a letter from them trying to reconnect with Goyle or something like that. You touched on some of the less savoury outcomes of the war, but never went any deeper. A good, pleasant story all the same though. I especially like how Grimmauld place was made into a nice home (and Harry couldn't stuff Walburga's portrait in the cellar lol)

I don't suppose we'll ever know why the owls kept turning up at Grimmauld place?

The banter in this was always interesting and clever. I liked the part when Hermione asks Harry how he can have his owls tote such big things around like that, and Harry corrects her saying they are not his owls, for maybe the third time to someone in the home. He only says this so firmly again because of the conversation he had before, and it might show he has learned something? Maybe? Maybe the conversation about his claiming of the owls was a symbol for some other thing he misunderstood? Either way, that was pretty nice, and I liked how you sneaked in some of Harry's personality using his unusual actions every now and then. Most writers forget to do things like that. You even showed instances where Draco might have looked fond on Harry, instead of just the other way around, and that I think, was reeealy nice, though unfortunately it is also another rare thing in books. I liked the dynamics of Harry and Draco's relationship, which always stayed true to their personalities in some respect I think.

This story was great! I haven't read a lot of Harry Potter fics, but I have a feeling this one will stick with me for quite a while. It's just so nice to get to see Harry living with friends, growing up, getting a home and a chance to heal. I have a couple of quibbles, but they're really tiny. One is that since this isn't exactly a short fic, it would have been a little easier to read/navigate if it was broken into chapters. Another is that I didn't buy Draco using "Santa's presents" as an innuendo. I wouldn't imagine pureblood children have Santa and even if he knows about the concept now... I don't know. It just pulled me out of the moment. The only other thing is more of a missed opportunity than a flaw. I loved the owls, but I kept thinking I was going to learn something more about them. I had a theory that they were the owls of victims of the war, maybe even fallen members of the Order of the Phoenix. That would have tied in nicely with the themes of the story. Maybe that's implicit in the story, after all they're wizards' owls, I just would have loved a little more. It felt like you were setting up a (very minor) mystery that you didn't fully pay off. Anyway, I truly did love this story. The friendships felt very natural, everyone was well characterized. I particularly enjoyed Hermione and Ron. I loved the slow transformation of Grimmauld Place. And the romance between Harry and Draco was really well paced and believable. So many kudos! I will have to check out your other works.

Very nice story. I usually get very bored when Draco and Harry get along that quickly, and I do like a little fight between them... But this story is lovely ! I love this theme of family and the fact that we had Luna and Greg and the owls! I also appreciate that they go sleeping together but nothing sexual immediately happened, the whole thing stayed realistic and sweet :) Thank you
