This was very realistic and made me want to give both John and Sherlock hugs throughout. Sherlock suffered so much after coming back that it's a wonder he didn't shut himself away from all the people he cared about. I mean really Mycroft's words about sentiment and caring seemed to be coming true. The more Sherlock cared, the more he got hurt. Putting himself back on drugs to stop Magnussen was really quite stupid. He knew he would have to detox out of it, and with experience he knew how bad that would be. Sherlock is just very self-destructive, and even in your piece he continues to say that if a case called for it he would put himself through this all over again. I really hope he thinks of John the next time and stops himself from following the white-rabbit.

I think John cornered Sherlock about his feelings for Janine. He didn't love her, but he did have guilt associated with what he had done to her.

I wonder what is gonna happen with John and Mary...Luther don't sound like they're in a good place at the moment...
