Fantastic update, you are keeping a constant suspense up and whew boy the twists just coming.
My first reaction to Holmes' "confession" was damn this idiots conscience! I'm thinking every time the killer gave him a choice between the murder and likely Watson or Mary or etc Ans since he always made a choice to save his loved ones instead he now considers himself a killer
Let's see if my theory holds ;-)

Should have done more from Sherlock's point of view. When I searched "Sherlock fanfictions", I wanted Sherlock fanfictions. *frowns* was AWESOMELY good, tho. Most people get the personality wrong, or the spelling wrong, or whole words wrong, or the grammar wrong. Not you, tho. Nothing that I could tell, and I got a 94 in English on my report card. *smiles happily* plus I am tottaly addicted to Sherlock, so I know their personalities. GREAT JOB!

I love the way you depicted Watson's despair/hope. Lestrades realism in the face of that is quite in character.

As usual the doctor comes to Holmes' rescue. His intuition regarding his friends wel being is impeccable. The last scene was dramatic enough to appease my thirst for the time being. After all what's a Holmes/Watson story without some :)

Another twist in the tale.

I like that this is all Watson so far. Holmes is behind the scenes, his presence is felt instead. The whole deduction relies on Watson right now and his ease at reading his friend.

I just can't resist this one. Its gone late here and I really should be sleeping but then my mail pings and theres a notification of a new chapter here and so...

These are the times when I wish I could ask you to chuck your day job (student, mechanic, chef, surgeon) and chain yourself to your laptop and churn a chapter each week! greedy, selfish me :)

PS: Dunno if I mentioned it earlier but I really like the fact that your work is always carefully edited. Seldom find a typo or a grammatical error.

Aaha Moriarty being nasty again. Yep I agree BBC one is far more interesting. I guess it's the whole dichotomy of being exactly like Sherlock but still his exact opposite (in appearance and morality or is it conscience) that appeals to me.

Hmmm I like the twist in the tale. Now Mary has shown herself to be quite a kickass lady already. So why don't you pull her in for a thoroughly lip smacking climax. I think that she will figure it out faster than John and somehow know atleast part of Sherlock's dilemma when he comes to it / pretends to kill her.

Imagine Moriarty gunning only for these two when she is the wild card. Delish.

OH MY GOD! I can't imagine Sherlock killing Mary but yet... Can't wait for next chapter!
