Amazing. Just read it now. Pretty late I know. Are there any sequels?

I LOVED this. It might sound silly, but I’ve always felt this unexplainable guilt for loving frozen as much as I do. And it was because of Elsa’s Ice magic. I would try and convince myself that Elsa (I know, I know, Elsa’s not a real person but it still bothered me, like, to an amount you wouldn’t understand) would be able to be a Christian and go to heaven because she wasn’t a sorceress, she was BORN with her magic, but that never helped. I still felt like even I was wrong for loving the movie because my parents made it seem like it was wrong. And in the real world, magic is demonic. But Elsa is special. She’s not evil. And I think I have finally come to terms with that because of this story:)

This was wonderful! This, BY far, is your best Frozen work. Of all of them, I feel like this definitely is THE best characterization of Queen Elsa. Even Anna. Oh, the wondeful sisterly feels. So sweet and touching. Although, I was taken aback by Kai's indifference to Kristoff.

Hurry up and finish your "Cross Purposes" sauciness that distracts me too much from the core element of Frozen so you can really work on a sequel to this one. Aw, heck. Work on sequels to all of them. Just keep Carlos at a distance. He's too everyone knows what their Queen is, ahem, up to regarding certain, ahem, activities. Oh, howwww embarassing. Tre awkward.

I really like your writing style in this fanfiction. Very well done. Excellent respect of the characters.

Regarding your A/N, yes, I was thinking of all those details, too. But, that is not the point of your story as you stated. It is mindboggling as to how a whole film plotline can change so many details with one simple rational act by Kai when he gently ushered Elsa into that room.

Again, nicely written. Very sensible.

Oh, this was such a well written and heart wrenching scene. My God, what these girls, well all of them really, have had to go through. Poor Elsa. My heart just breaks for her.

I enjoyed reading your story.

I agree with your basic premise for this story, that the castle staff didn't do what they could have, arguably should have, for Elsa and especially for Arendelle. While in many ways working in the Palace is "just a job", they are presumably well-paid and that's because, their job is not just washing dishes but also to help the nation be the best possible nation it can be - whether that's through presenting clean plates or linens to visiting VIPs, or by not letting the Queen run off into the middle of the night and bringing her a cuppa when she needs it.

Kai and Gerda are far from stupid, or foolish; they simply can't be and still hold their positions. So that they must know what Elsa's powers are, and they've had many years to think about what they mean for the kingdom as a whole, if they are inclined that way. And I'd expect them to be inclined towards serving the nation as a whole, or they'd have packed their bags and left long ago, rather than continue such difficult service as tending a castle that's sorely understaffed on account of trying to keep Elsa secret.

Well written, and especially well done at how Kristoff is brought in, to have his time in the story, too. Nice planning on how the Ice Palace will get built, and I agree that someday, Anna's 'wanna build a snowman' will probably bring in Olaf, as well. Looking forward to a continuation.

Every time I see Frozen I always think, 'how would the movie have gone if Elsa never showed her powers?' So far this seems close enough and it is VERY VERY good.

I think that this interpretation is interesting, but I wonder why this or something like it wouldn't have happened a few months after the King and Queen's death.
