Cool story! Though I must admit I found Conner...annoying, trying to interfere with Oliver and Felicity's relationship. Yes, he meant well, I get that. Still, it wasn't his place. And at his age he should definitely know not to run off, from school or otherwise. And Felicity's decision to treat him to a hot chocolate after he ran away, not to mention after Oliver told her not to...yeah I did not agree with that either. For one, when a kid does something they're not supposed to do, something that's dangerous, you do NOT reward them for it, which she basically did there. For another, while Oliver wasn't nice about it, he was completely right. Connor is his son. Felicity is 'only' his girlfriend. He clearly told her what he wanted her to do with Connor and she did the exact opposite. She is no his subordinate, and it's not his place to order her around in general, but here it was about HIS son, one she has no parental or guardian rights to at all, one she doesn't actually know that well or long. And yet, Oliver ended up being the 'bad guy'. I found that a bit frustrating. Though, she did eventually think about it a bit more rationally and they talked about it and cleared things up.

Despite that little frustrating there, I really enjoyed this story! I liked the dynamic between Oliver and Felicity and was very happy when they ended up happy with each other.

Ok I just read this chapter and I see that she kind of understands where he was going from. Sorry I didn't wait to review. Even tho I meant what I wrote I see that I misjudged where u were going with this. As far as where Felicity's thoughts were anyway. After thinking she understands where Oliver's head was at even if his words to her were wrong. I feel like an idiot. But I am a Mom and sometimes I get a little carried away when it's about kids.

Ok #1 I adore this story. It's going to be one of my favorites. But I'm astounded you didn't get more flack for the whole Felicity taking Connor to eat plot. What Oliver said was too far but...as a parent if my child ran away to my boyfriend (of a few months) office. & I asked him to wait right there for me, well you know what she did. I would be furious. Already out of my mind and scared and boyfriend didn't listen but took my kid to eat (he wasn't dying of starvation, he could've waited 15 min till Dad arrived). And the talk she had etc. Not Cool! She really should've listened to what Oliver wanted her to do. If you don't get it you must not have kids. Now if they were engaged or lived together that's different slightly. Anyway Oliver's response was too far..probably because he was scared. Now that's the only thing that I disagreed with and I had to say it. Realistically Oliver's demands to Felicity were not out of line and she should've listened. I love your writing and this story.

This was such an interesting story! I like the incorporation of Ray but I feel like he was such an ass, unlike how he is on the show but I guess that's a NFL persona thing. My fave parts are the first date and Connor running to Felicity.

I wish there were more chapters! Great story though! I loved it!
