As a personal preference, I always wanted to see more of Utakata (partly because he looked pretty dang hot, but also because Saiken seemed like one of - if not the - friendliest Bijū). And I really thought there was a sad amount of Utakata-centered fics. I’m soooo glad I read this one though, because it’s really good!

Utakata has always been one of my favorite characters and I love how you write him! Plus it's amazing to see some interaction with Zabuza lol you have a great talent for writing and I am sure you'll only flurish with time! Keep up the good work!

Ah XD! You write so many nice twists of fate stories that we just want to follow to the end, this is another one. I love the interaction between Utakata, Haku, Zabuza, Saiken, Rin, Isobu, the inclusion of Naruto, looking forward to his birth and everything. I think because they were originally wandering, while I was reading, I saw things happening through a foggy dreamlike lens. That was was certainly different :-) Thank you for another lovely story.

90% of my reason for giving this story a favorite and review is because of your dedication at the top. I'm a twin as well and I have never been able to put into words what having that other half of your soul felt like. Well you came pretty damn close, closer than any long winded poem or plotted novel ever has for me, and I just wanted to thank you for it. BTW loved the fic it was extraordinary and will probably have no equal.

Oh I like this a lot. I really liked Utakata in the story but there was so little of him there. I wished there was more. This is exactly what I wanted. And I love the idea that its him and Zabuza who go back. Becuase they arent exactly considered good people, especially with the whole kiri thing. But this is good. Argh! I love it. If you ever write more to this story I would be thrilled. not trying to pressure you. Just saying. I love it as it is too.

Very unusual pairing I think.
But the whole thing is awesome. I like how compassion enabled the whole time travel thing. And I really love that Rin got to survive instead of dying for Uchiha angst.

Wish you would continue this, though I suppose it would be hard to make Madara a real danger with all the tailed beasts working together from the beginning.

A great one-shot and honestly all the more impressive for feeling so complete. Would love to see more of course but the wrapped up nature of it - awesome. Thanks!

I had just watched Naruto for Utakata's filler, so I decided to read this one since I've been putting this one off before. I honestly didn't expect that you can link this with the moment when Rin died, but wow, you managed it. Logically sound too, since Utakata and Zabusa were from Kiri and the ones chasing them were Kini-nin.

And as expected, I can see KakaObiRin, no matter how small it is.

It will be nice if you can give a sequel about mommy!Utakata and daddy!Zabusa for Haku XDDD and Utakata as Mizukage would lead to three of Five Great Nations to have Jinchuuriki as it's Kage (Mizukage, Kazekage, and Hokage in the future). Maybe that will finally, finally eradicate the prejudice against them. It will be amusing to see Rin bond with Utakata, what with both of them having Bijuu of water element. Any extra KakaObi will be nice.
