I agree with Donovan. I'm sorry I know they are supposed to be a loving couple but Sherlock doesn't seem to have much trust or respect for his wife. In fact the whole keeping her by his side shows a lack of both and extreme insecurity. I know they're not supposed to be a normal couple but if you want them to look like a closer, happier couple then some changes have to happen because this really looks wrong. And please make Alex something more than a helpless damsel Sherlock simply doesn't respect those kind of people and in any relationship there has to be mutual respect and trust else it's not very loving. Their only connection so far seems to be physical attraction. There is no proper dialogue between them. Alex is either agreeing with him or scolding him. Sherlock doesn't really talk to her either besides telling her what to do. He treats her like a possession rather than a person.
