It's delightful seeing Kamina back in action! Simon and Kamina were a team, and I always thought of them as two halves of a single character, so killing one of them off crippled the entire show. I'm maybe in the minority thinking that, but just who the hell do you think I am!?

Why haven't more people got onboard with this story? It's great! I can't wait to finish off the rest! Then maybe you'll write some more?

I like this story, but it just seems your pulling as much cliche moments as you can. Nia's unwavering faith in Simon in the faith of absolute death is what snapped him out of it last time. This time it's just Grit your teeth and be happy now. This story seems good, but it also seems like your making Kamina such a bigger asshole then he already was. He even went back in time just so he could put his mechs name in front of Simon's. This story is just destroying Kamina's character from the anime when he talked to Simon when he was older.

... where do I even begin? I started this fic last night, and I got half way through before I was forced to go to bed... and this fanfic plagued me because I was at a cliffhanger. So after waking up, I finished this fanfic and I need more. Please update soon! The whole Kamina going back in time and sort-of combining with his past self... amazing. I especially like when future-Kamina thinks something and the past-Kamina is affected... be it verbally or future-Kamina completely overtaking the situation (i.e. the whole kissing Yoko in front of Simon thing). Again, I just can't wait for the next chapter... I think I'll die slowly until it's updated! (Just kidding, but really. It's so well written, and the plot and characters are amazing. Please update soon!)

Wow. This Is An amazing story. I love how things are progressing.

All I can say is for my first reading of any fan-fiction this has set the bar really, really high. It's been some years since I've watched TTGL but reading a new take on the events has definitely got me excited for more chapters to come.

I've never been good at conveying my thoughts down into word, especially in any capacity worthy of being dubbed a 'review', but first and foremost; this feels like I'm reading an anime. The way the author paints the scene feels like it was sketched out on a storyboard then drawn down with words. All the characters feel like they're taken right from the anime, nothing has seem particularly out of character given the circumstances. I joked with a friend of mine while reading it that "If they made a TTGL sequel anime, I'd want this to be used as a script."

I think the best chapter so far was chapter 7, with the echoing lines. "I'm in serious trouble here."/"I'm in serious trouble here." was very creative and well done writing, but I fear in terms of quality that may be where the series will peak? Not to say the author's writing has gone downhill since then, but perhaps it'll be on a plateau from there-on out?

Probably not though, the Enki Lagann-Gurren is an interesting twist and I hope it smashes the bar set by Chapter 7 and keeps going up until it pierces the heavens, etc, etc.

So Simon got out of his Heroic BSOD? Or at least he's starting to? That's good.

I'm assuming this was part of Kamina's plan, though I don't know how he could've possibly guessed that Simon would actually get better. After all, the one from the original timeline got kicked into high gear in the middle of a crisis moment, while it seems like this one just kinda decided that it was about time to stop moping around for no reason.

Things look like they're coming to a head, and I love a good arc climax. Can't help but wish that Kamina dies whenever it is that shit hits the fan, not because he's not awesome, but because I'm expecting the true story to start when he does here just like it did in canon.

I was skeptical when I first read this, but your taking the plot in a very interesting direction. I'm really curious to see what happens next.
