I actually had a feeling Erica would die when WAR updated her story, and I was right. You nailed everything in this new chapter of your own story through Erica's dying eyes. She killed in Mumm-Ra's name, and now she's paying for it. At least she's dying with a smile on her face.

This was beautiful. You really made Erica shine in this chapter. Seriously, despite everything that's happened between them she never stopped loving Lion-O. Which is really sad when you think about it. I mean, just when you think this could be their turning page Mumm-Ra just has to come in and tare up all their hopes and dreams. (As if he hasn't done enough of that already :P) Honestly, though, the only good thing about this is that Erica can finally be with Masai again. Since, the poor girl has been through enough as it is and deserves a little happiness. (Plus, ever since WAR introduced us to Masai I've been a huge Erica x Masai shipper, so I'm not all that sad about Erica dying.) Anyway, please update soon :)

This entry is most fitting for the two greatest fictional characters you're writing, one of them belonging to WAR-Operative. It convinces me that only WAR knows how "Rise Out of the Ashes" will end should she choose to finish it up.

I like the prophetic tone you did for Erica and Lion-O this chapter. They're both caught in situations beyond their control, and they seemingly have no way out. I believe you're truly growing as a writer with a story like "Remnants."

The pain and suffering Erica's been going through for a long time is something that will stay with her for a long time. I really hope Lion-O and the other adult ThunderCats learn to come to terms with Erica's actions as well as their own, because the way I see it, Mumm-Ra played everyone from the very beginning. They need to be bigger than themselves; otherwise they'll never cherish what they have.

You know, it's times like these that I just want to punch Lion-O in the face because he's being so ... STUPID! Seriously, can he just take a moment to realize that Erica is already suffering? That she never wanted to be the person that she is now, or that all she ever wanted was his love and support? Because it's painfully obvious how hurt she is right now. Like, could someone just give this poor girl a hug or something? :( Anyway, please update soon :)

You know what really pisses me off? The fact that Lion-O chose to believe Pumyra over his best friend. Someone he's known for a long time and who has always supported him. No matter what. So, when he did that I was so mad at him because he was basically turning his back on her. Like, their friendship didn't mean anything to him. This chapter was pretty "hot." In short, Your understanding of Erica and Lion-O's characters remains in top form.

Your writing is just so beautiful. This was yet another incredible journey into the mind of Erica Riley. She's been through so much. Only time will tell if she's actually redeemable.

Doing the right thing isn't always the easiest thing to do. Especially, if you're put in a situation where you're left with very little options. Something Erica wasn't given much of in life. So, you can really feel her pain and struggle here as she questions the choices she's made so far. But I guess all she can really do is just try, and hope everything works out for the best.
