I've just realized that for some inexplicable reason I have yet to leave you a review! What IS that? So basically, to summarize all my thoughts/feelings on the last 16 chapters: I was skeptical about an extra sibling, but you've really fleshed Kate out as a complex, believable character and she fits into this family so well; I think your portrayals of the characters we already know are spot on; I think it's great that you add a girl to the mix and you've wrapped up in one "season" what the Show took two to do ;) haha; this whole Guardian angle is really intriguing, and I'm excited to watch that unfold; and finally, I think my absolute favorite part of this story so far is watching Dean have a little sister :))) Seriously, I love, love, LOVE everything about it! The fights, the protectiveness, the fierce love, everything! AND we still get to see him act that they with Sammy - you know how moms say that when they have more kids they don't love the other kids less, their hearts just grow with the capacity for more love? It's like that with Dean and his siblings haha

Anyway, apologies for being such a delinquent reviewer, and I can't wait for the next chapter!

I hope you're happy with this. I really do. Because there's a lot going on to be happy about. I slid back into the story as easily and effortlessly as you slid Kate into this family. It feels natural to me now, to read about the THREE Winchester siblings. There's an established, detailed bond between any two out of three.

I told you before - there's both resolution and set-up to be read here in this chapter, and it all works. The beginning of the chapter read so carefree and complete, it wasn't until the end when I was sucker-punched by the remembrance of what's going on with Kate, and what they could mean for her and Dean as they're hunting.

I will devour every word you write. I hope you write more for this story, and SOON.

Dean DIED?! THE FEELS!
Ok, this turned into Devil's Trap AND In My Time of Dying all rolled into a messy gooey center. So THERE is where John went. She sold her soul! Glad John tried to stop her, and then shot the demon. She was counting on that?! KATE! But Dean's back - wonderful!

And they are talking, and she's giving it all up. OOOOOhhhhh... Castiel! Glad the boys know the truth (even though Dean knew) from Kate's own mouth. Sorry Sammy, about being Hell's weapon, and no, it's not over dude. And angels on their tail...

WOW - Shadow skidding sideways, fast. Dean's taken, and they're going to get him back. YES!
Although Dad was saying pack up to get Dean, doesn't seem like he went with them on the rescue mission?
Glad Dean was clued in on Sammy's demon blood and Kate's angelic Grace. Yeah, feeling stupid missing it.
WONDERFUL fight scene with the demon controlling Dean's body against his siblings, and Kate fighting with him to expel the demon. But he's not breathing!

Ooooohhhhh! What a great plot twist - Meg going to get Sam and Kate, and then Yellow-Eyes taking care of her, and now Meg is Meg the girl (NOT dead) and Kate was able to heal Sam (somewhat) and Meg and now's in reaction and - and - and -
Dean's GONE!
Not only does that kill John, it kills your readers too!

Kate's getting better at accessing her Grace and healing, although Sam keeps catching her.
Dead Man's Blood, now Salvation. But taking Dean with him? Gotta change the odds.

John knows, of course, that something is going on with Kate. Sam, too - although Sam doesn't understand. OK, Dad doesn't understand just yet either. And then there's clueless Dean!
Love your different ending to Shadow.

But having Meg grab Kate was new. SOOO glad John was there! Wonder if John's possessed? To go back to the hotel?! Really Dad? After everything you did to get them as close as they are?

Oh, I feel for Sam. That's all he can think about, and he's so relieved - that he's not alone. Kate's like him, and he's not alone.

Surprised Dean actually allowed Kate the 12 hours before trying to force feed her the aspirin. No dude I know of would've allowed that, not with their sister that bad off. Yep, force-feeding aspirin.

But Kate can't tell her brothers. I forget why already (stupid brain won't let me remember!) but Sam, oh Sam... she can't tell Dean.

Really, really liking the power here she's got - the Angel's grace - and the healing. Interesting about the Dome needed in preparation. But soooooo COOL with the healing.

LOVE it.

WOW! Angel grace for the girl, great way to get her to help her keep her brothers safe.

Best line so far - "Dean's going to LOVE this. My big oaf of an overprotective older brother and I'm supposed to keep him from harm... "

I'm really finding it interesting how you've inserted Kate into canon. I'm reading along - you got the inflections, the feelings, thought patterns, and then Kate's there with her thoughts and feelings... intriguing.

But Kate can protect Sam now, Dean too, I assume - with her newly awoken power. Don't think it kicks in at a certain age, more like at a certain danger level? Or after the demon possession.

Phoebe possessed Kate, and something happened. Wondering if those are angels that are tagging along, that she can almost sometimes see.
But the almost demon possession took it right out of her.
