Interesting, but I got a bit confused because in the first chapter the moments that were typed regularly and in italics kept switching so fast it threw me off guard because some moments that were supposed to be italicized weren't.

I...actually was skeptical cuz it was a slight AU , but heck, it was good and so well written I kept reading, it did tug my heart strings. I'm glad I read this. It's so interesting! Never pined Jaune for a betrayer. Ending was bittersweet. I'm so glad there is a happy ending . Thank you for writing this wonderful fic.

Not really that heartbreaking but if he got the death penalty and there was nothing ozpin could do. That would be truly heartbreaking but the was a cute story.
