What do you mean grey in his hair? In fact why does everyone say that? In canon when harry meets him he has a couple of grey hairs that from the sound of it were a recent appearance and had only shown up in the last year or so. He was young! Harry oblivious Potter notices several times throughout the series how young ( but tired) he looks. In the third book I've imaged him as BBC's sherlock at around the empty hearse(with lighter hair) that sherlock has premature lines on his face as well . the point I'm making is that in your story and throughout canon he is a young man and should be described accordingly, though I do admit he is a differcult character to write and describe- he is so complex, and what we know of him was what harry saw, which was for the most part a super awesome genius teacher

Honestly, I wasn't expecting to like this. Other AU Halloweens that I've read have all seemed really fake... all except this one, that is! It was wonderful and realistic and absolutely brilliant. Thank you for this unique idea. I truely enjoyed your story. Your style is good and mostly fluent. I would be very interested in the new home life and dynamic of the Potters with Sirius and Remus.
Especially regarding Peters trial and the fact that the marauders and Lily became the vanquisher of Voldemort. Seeing as a werewolf and a Black were involved in his defeat could have an interesting impact on wizarding society.
On another note... will Lily and snape reconcile, when Lily hears he became a spy for the light. How would the boys react? And speaking of boys... If you are up to it... Maybe more Baby Harry scenes? With his parents and uncles :-o :-)
