Very interesting story! I love those stories in which Val puts the pieces together after D-Stabilized! I’d love to see the emotional impact - after all, the meek boy who was afraid of ghosts at every turn, whom she liked and whom she had dated for a time, the boy with whom she had broken up to protect him from ghosts, is also (potentially) her greatest rival, her most hated enemy before the events of D-Stabilized complicated everything, the very thing she was trying to protect Danny Fenton from. That sort of revelation can’t come without an emotional cost of some sort.

How she confirms it? Well, she could outright confront Danny, which I would most like to see, whether in his human or ghost form. Or, she could follow him before or after a ghost attack (depending on his form), and hide to see if he changes. She could try to find and ask Dani, but considering she disappeared, that doesn't seem very likely.

Anyway, I would love to see a second part to this, so I hope that helped!

I feel like if this happened in the show Valery would not so subtly walk up to Danny, stare at him and start poking him.

But for the purpose of this Fic, maybe she could drop hints; get caught searching his bag/interrogate his friends... I don't know. Just tossing around useless ideas .

Maybe you could have her use their next encounter (Red Huntress vs Danny Phantom) as a theory tester. She did say she wasn't going to go easy on him the next time they met.
