| veedub3 chapter 1 . 5/20/2015 This was a very nice story! I am still not caught up on this show. What info I do no about the show is what I have gleaned from other blogs and recaps. I read somewhere about Bass being at the Zoo, but because I still have yet to finish Season 4, let alone Season 5 - where this was apparently mentioned, I did not know how that came to be. Thanks to CatGen for explaining that the show never explained it either. (figures!) Great story, and I think you did a wonderful job giving finality to the Bass story line! |

It was sad and moving, and as has been done in the show, you made us care about a type of pet that people don't usually feel that close to. And you conveyed Maura's grief, and Jane's devotion very well. At times your story brought a tear to my eye too. Thanks for writing about this. (BTW, in the final episode of season 5, I don't know if you heard when Jane was trying to cheer Maura up after her break-up with Jack, she asked if Maura wanted to go to the zoo to visit Bass. What I don't understand is why it was that Maura gave Bass to the zoo.) |
