That was fun to read, almost like a novelization of the episode, with extra fries! ;D It's gotta be one of my favorites from season one. I love your addition of the padawan braid. I really wish they had incorporated that into the show somehow.

Excellent addition to the episode! I loved the fluff at the end. Ezra having a padawan braid really needs to come into the series (mind, I've only seen the first season yet so what do I know?).

Haha I kinda wish that Ezra actually did have the braid in his hair I won't lie after I read this I went back to watch the last episode to see if they actually put in the tv series XD still trying to watch all of season 1

That was great! I like how some of Kanan's impulsivity and his own lack of training showed through, here. He's really still learning, too. And they're both growing all the time! :) It's good to see. I thought you captured their personalities and elaborated on their mindsets well. Kanan does seem to be recovering shockingly quickly, but I suppose if you attribute that to the force...! And, you know...Sabine's suggestion of using make-up to hide his scars is a really good idea! Ezra maybe shouldn't blow that off too quickly! :P

The Padawan Braid was never artificial. They kept all of their hair short except for the braid. They let the braid grow until the day they became Masters and then it was cut off. The Padawan Braid is a symbol of growth and development in a Padawan's knowledge of and connection with the force.
