Just stumbled upon this story again after reading it in it's early stages then not keeping up with the updates. I love the way you've done things and, having just rewatched season 1, I think you've done a great job of working it all into this story with your own twists on it. I genuinely feel for Francis, but glad he survived over Elizabeth. Most of all I'm happy that Ross was entirely devoted to Demelza in this story and she wasn't in Elizabeth's shadow. I'll be re reading this again soon. Thanks for sharing :)

Stumbled upon ''Second Chances'' doing a google search. I was having ''Poldark Withdrawal '' pangs. So far I have used up a box of Kleenex. I'm a romantic..with all that that entails so please forgive me if I gush...This is such a beautiful story that it makes me think that although Ross has gotten a second chance, and thinks that he is living life on earth again, he is in fact in Heaven. For what is Heaven really but a chance to relive your happiest time and rectify your mistakes, make as much right as you can? I hope I'm not ruining the story line ...just know that so far this story has been a bit of Heaven for me. Thank you so much for this wonder !
