Reviews for Nomenclature
mark chapter 1 . 1/28/2017
One last thing. The Doctor is known by the Daleks, but not as mythology. Just because they have their own name for him doesn't make him a myth. The Time Lock was put in place at the war's end. What did the Guardians have to do with it?
mark chapter 1 . 1/28/2017
What happened was, when they met him, which on television only happened twice, they called him the Monk because he'd posed as one. And the War Chief was called that because it was his rank.

Rani is a hindu name.
The War Doctor didn't like being called Doctor, but he didn't actually forbid it.

Russell T. Davies once said that this Rassilon doesn't have to be THE Rassilon.
Is Rani a title? And the Monk never called himself that.
BenRG chapter 1 . 4/10/2015
This is probably why, in the end, the Time Lords were losing and badly. Rassilon was too wrapped up in playing his power games and generally undermining the war effort due to his god complex. It is difficult to fight an external foe as dangerous as the final variant of the Daleks when your own supreme leader is too busy trying to undermine his own perceived internal rivals.

So... I wonder if Romana is still out there, somewhere, waiting for the Doctor to catch up with her?
Marcus Rowland chapter 1 . 4/10/2015
Never did like Rasillon. Think he went to "knowing what is good for everyone" school with Dumbledore...
Black' Victor Cachat chapter 1 . 4/9/2015
Nice chapter for both Rassilon's personality, but also for how Time Lords regard the Doctor and his accomplishments.
CrazyPhenom chapter 1 . 4/9/2015
Doctor. No matter what. Epic line. Nice take on Rassilon. Still hoping for a comeback, I mean, if Master can.
