I love this book

I envy you. I can't express my thoughts properly and have my words mean what I want to convey.

How do you deal with this, because you have to "be" both dragon and human to understand your writing.

Are Hiccup and Toothless going to travel soon/later/eventually?

When we(humans) use words we understand what the word means and what we mean when we say it. When I learn new words, I don't truly understand or remember what it means until I hear it used. (I think sarcasm would be confusing for dragons. Like when Hiccup was lying to Ice Hunt, that was close to sarcasm.) With your example, when a mother and child are together we know that they are mother and child but we don't think of why we think they are because coming to that conclusion is so immediate.

When you mentioned another name for braces was curly brackets, I was confused, because calling the metal you put on your teeth to make them straight "curly brackets" makes no sense. Then I realized you meant {}. I have only ever heard them called curly brackets, as opposed to square brackets []. There are curly brackets, square brackets, and parentheses for me. It is very interesting the linguistic tidbits I pick up reading this. First 'Jet', now this.
