This was fascinating. I'm glad it didn't turn out this way in the movie and we can rather imagine Cooper going to Edmunds' planet and being reunited with Brand to help with Plan B, but your Plan B here was very emotive and well written.

Well, that completely consumed my daily dose of feels... Really well written story! Absolutely amazing!

I am probably not the only one who thinks that this is how it should have gone!
I loved the attitude of Cooper at the beginning of this: disgusted, hopeless, blase. "Gotta feed you perverts somehow" was too good for words. I find his position understandable.

The romance part was bittersweet to perfection.

FWIW, without the complete step-change in the last reel, this is more-or-less how I was expecting the film to turn out.
