SUGGESTION: Write a chapter that has Old Man McGucket in it. Could you please do it? I feel like McGucket is extremely underrated, he's become such a deep character ever since SOTBE and even more so after ATOTS, he was always a pitiful character ever since his first appearance (in the sense that you feel pity for him and his life story, not in the sense that his character quality is pitiful because it's definitely high-quality) but he gained so much depth since LOTG that I feel it's a waste not to write about him. Please don't let McGucket gather dust, use him like a deep and rich character like him deserves to be used.

I'm kinda curious about Mabels relationship with Mel, before she got pregnant and he flipped out. I also think that perhaps an odds and ends should show Mel attending an event outside his town, I assume he moved away from Mabel, that Mabel Dipper and Wendy are attending with the kids. Mel decides to drop a bomb on Wendy's perfect day, he's found a lawyer that has figured out how to get the Child Support nullified, Wendy pushes him onto the wall of a fried food stand and demands he take his statement back. Mel says that he doesn't have to do anything as they're in a crowded area and plenty of people are witnesses then asks what Wendy will do. Wendy then pulls out her cell phone and pulls up videos of her father Daniel Corduroy showing him that even though he has only the flimsiest familial tie to Mels kids he treats them like he does Phoebe with the utmost care, Mel is unphased by the display of love saying he won't be paying child support because he will no longer have a legal reason, but Wendy tells him to keep watching. The Video shows Stan being chased by a bear from the woods and Dan stands up and intercepts the Bears war path and grabs it by the throat yelling "YOU'RE SCARING THE CHILDREN!" and throws the bear by the throat to the ground which then flees terrified. Mel is astonished by the video but quickly assumes it's faked with the latest editing techniques. Wendy then texts Mabel to come to her who walks up all sunshine and rainbows then sees Mel and goes steely eyed and monotone acknowledging her ex-husband with just his name. Wendy asks for verification on the video, Mabel glances for one second at the screen without wavering her look. Mel who has only ever seen Mabel as emotional except when caffine was needed in convinced Wendy's dad is that strong and deadly. Wendy then explains Mels plan to Mabel who only frowns. Wendy then goes on to say that if he follows through with his weaseling out of parental responsibilities she won't go after him her dad will and he won't beat him up, he'll kill him. Mel tries to call one last bluff but Mabel pulls her phone out and shows a video of Dan walking Phoebe through town when a Wolf charges at them for the kill and Dan catches it by the muzzle which upset Phoebe and Dan decides to punish the wolf. "You scared my granddaughter, you should not have done that" and SNAP the Wolf is dead Mel asks who recorded that and you hear Mayor Tyler going " Get em Get em!" in the background. Mel is visibly green and sweating more than Dipper used to *whoooo boy that is a lot* Mel then calls up his lawyer and tells him to burn the stuff about getting out of Child Support and then tries to leave but Mabel makes him stop and tell her why he's so desperate to get out of paying. Mel explains that he can't afford to move out of his apartment and he wants to move on with his life but the Child Support prevents that, Mabel softening her face the slightest amount then pulls out her purse are fishes out a business card and tells him to ask for Carlos De Lacruz and say that Mabel is backing you up. Mel asks what this is about and Mabel says that she has connections as the most popular teacher at her school and by asking for a job with that man his yearly salary will triple and he can move to a better apartment or small house while not feel suffocated by child support payments. Mel thanks Mabel who then takes the card back and tells him to follow her leading him back to Dipper and the kids, Wendy gives Dipper their gesture to keep him from flipping out, Mabel introduces her twins to Mel as a friend she knew from before they were born. Gladys and Finn are very polite and Mel is impressed by the kids. Dipper then gets next to Mel quietly asking if they're still mistakes, which Mel replies that they are not but declines to further be a part of their lives so to not ruin a perfect dynamic. Mel politely leaves with the business card and the kids don't know they met their dad, and they never do. Mabel continues to receive Child Support Checks and feels better about Mell
