this story was brilliant. I am sad to see it end.

So... quite surprised this only got 80 reviews since it was quite a nice piece of fiction. I'm guessing there are not that many readers in the section.
I enjoyed it, from beginning to end, and Tristan is so cute with Katlyn. Albeit I very much wanted to strangle her sometimes, I'm so very glad she got to save Dagonet. I cried when he died.

You did such a wonderful job writing this story! I love it so much, especially with how you developed the characters and still stuck to the storyline. Just beautiful!

There is not much I can say other than that I loved this story! Great job with the romance! It was more believable than them kissing within three days of knowing each other! Very Tristan! Love him! I love their little banters too! I would say write a sequel but I know those are sometimes hard to male a storyline for and you might not want to ruin what you already have so yeah! Again, loved it!

I have really enjoyed reading this. Well thought out and written, I love Katlyn and Tristan!

I really enjoy this story and I'm excited to follow it. I love Tristan and especially strong female lead characters. But, I do have a bit of constructive criticism. Nothing bad, just a suggestion. You spend a portion at the end of Ch. 15 hinting that the gypsies were going to try something. Then, in this chapter (16), you simply say nope, nothing happened, several months has now passed and the gypsies just left despite knowing who she was and how much she was worth. That's a huge lost opportunity for character development. You had a chance to explore a bit of Kat's more strategic abilities and display her intelligence in more than just an advanced vocabulary. If the gypsies are going to plot against Kat, then Kat isn't just going to duck her head around a corner and hide. Look at the beginning of the story, she is a plotter, a planner, a doer. She isn't and shouldn't be passive, she doesn't just sit back and let things happen. No, she's going to take measures to make sure these gypsies don't cause her or her knights any problems. For example, you could use the opportunity to show off more of her stealth and thieving skills by having her steal something valuable and framing the gypsies for it or you could show off her intelligence and ability to collect meaningful information by having her dig up sensitive information and blackmail them into keeping their silence. I know it's tempting to skip over bits that aren't directly related to the romance, but opportunities for character development should never be passed up. The world Kat lives in is a cruel and dangerous place, and her actions need to reflect that. Honor has its place but, as Kat has shown us already, so does deviousness. Maybe you could come back to this section later and add in a chapter or two on what you think would happen with the gypsies.
