I liked it in general but the “I will go and find the next Avatar part” doesn’t really make sense cause that’s not how the cycle works she doesn’t find someone new it’s explicitly stated in the first series “when the Avatar dies he’s reborn into the next nation in the cycle” that’s why previous Avatars are called her past lives and why she’s called Aang’s reincarnation and why Iroh said to Korra “when you were Avatar Wan” and why Roku said I know you can do it Aang for you have done it before and his face fades out into Aang’s face and why Toph said we were good friends in your previous life nice to see again twinkle toes and why Raava told Wan we will be together for all of your lifetimes and you see the gold mist leave his body when he dies and it fades to white and you hear a baby cry cause he was being reborn that’s why when Zaheer was gonna kill Korra in the Avatar State he said “you will never again be reborn” like google reincarnation

WOW, this was so wonderfully written! It was heartbreaking, and sad, and hard to read through at times, but Asamis grief jumped off the page and I couldn't look away. I like how you showed all parts of her grief, and then even her moving on after Korras sudden death in the first chapter. This story was very sad, but it was done so very well. You are an excellent writer!

You didn't have the right to do that to me! I was crying all night... I woke my parents like 5 times! During the chapters I was crying and then when I finished them I was sobbing. And in the morning when I woke I remember what I've read last night and fell face down on the floor and started crying! I just can't Korra and Asami were ment to be. They are just so cute. They love each other and I can't wait for the comic to be released! Awsome two-shot btw

this hurt me. It was beautifully written. There aren't many fics I enjooy where Korra dies, and this is one of them. I really liked this

I almost didn't read this, but I'm glad I did. It's incredible.

Oh man you need to write something past this story. How perhaps Asami finds the next Avatar (as a baby) and promises that she'll live long enough to ensure that the new Avatar lives a full life & master the four elements in due course & just simply sees Korra in the new Avatar (Can either be male or female). I would love to see Asami very protective over a baby Avatar after tragically losing Korra.
