Guest chapter 12 . 5/29
Interesting... of all the 'Tonks and Remus survive' stories, it's always been Hope Lily Lupin. Interesting... Oh,and it's a very nice story, by the way.

Princess Aziza chapter 12 . 12/31/2015
Can you do a sort of flashback scene where the students all find out Remus is back and about his first day?
seriousblahblah chapter 3 . 10/16/2015
"To anyone worrying that I somehow made it out to be assuming that Tonks would be the stay at home mum, please, it would drive her mad." Yes there is a much higher chance Tonks would force Remus to be the stay-at-home dad than her be the stay-at-home mom! Not tonks!
seriousblahblah chapter 2 . 10/16/2015

VlightPhase chapter 12 . 10/12/2015
Excellent chapter, where do I begin? Tonks and Remus seem just how I would expect them, with Tonks going crazy from inactivity and Remus being glued to her side.
I love the pseudo-science you came up with and love to speculate how things work with it, but more on that later. It does seem remarkable romantic how Remus can only have children with Tonks, and I like the idea of all their children being metamorphs. That will be an interesting family dynamic in a few years. I never understood how it became common for women to give birth laying down. In more ancient times it was common for women to give birth while squatting or sitting. I did find it funny how Andromeda and the healer where Tonks should be, and then how to get Tonks up the stairs to the point where Remus lost his patience and picked Tonks up.
I still find it funny how Remus and Harry still have a competition to claim baby names. and it is entertaining how Remus and Tonks are averse to plant names.

And now for speculation on pseudo-science for my own enjoyment. At first when you mentioned Remus' fertility fluctuating I thought, hmm... must be most fertile around new moon, but then I recalled werewolves conceiving on the full moon having wolf cubs. Unless the rarity of the wolf cubs is due to fertility levels, though I always thought it was more due to the unlikelihood of two werewolves meeting under the full moon deciding to mate. Hmmm... still don't know.
Based on your description I think the lycanthrope agent in your story is a virus; modifies the host's genome to fit it's own purpose? Sounds most like a virus. And you've done a good job establishing that lycanthrope offspring conceived when the parent was human will not reach full term. My question is, if the lycanthrope mutation and the metamorph genes are on the same location, what would happen if a metamorphmagus is bitten by a werewolf on the full moon? hmmm... I've come up with four possibilities. A) the virus will modify the genome and in the process scramble the metamorph genes so that the individual will become a werewolf, but no longer be a metamorph B) the virus attempts to modify the genome but it the process both the lycanthrope mutation and metamorph genes get scrambled resulting in the individual not being a werewolf, but no longer being a metamorph either C) My favorite: the metamorph genes resist the lycanthrope virus via the fluidity of the cells being able to keep the virus out. So the individual stays a metamorph and does not become a werewolf D) the virus' mutations coincide with the metamorph genes, so the individual is both a werewolf and a metamorph.
Of course I'm hardly a genetics or biology expert, but I've had fun speculating.
Excellent chapter.
